Ancient city is historic picture squad of Siam represented the elegant cultures of ancient places and items collected and duplicated in smaller size of many of the most famous building, monuments and temples found in all parts of Thailand.Our first sentiment when step into this place is calmness and gratified with urrounding nature like entering into a dream world. We began our trip from Southern part,visiting the Monohra Garden, I-Nao Garden and the Stupa of Phra Mahathat (Nakhon Srithammarat) duplicated similarly to the real one.

            The most magnificent and grand of this place was found only at the Sanphet Prasat Palace, located in the Central part of Thailand. This palace was destroyed by the Burmese since the second loss of Ayutthaya period.The ancient city, then, has built in the duplicated one by researching information from both Thai and foreign documents such as reports, legends and histories to set up suitable layout plan and other compositions on architectural structure. One special impression to the builder of this palace is that His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej has ever been used the palace as the official reception hall during Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of England and her husband paid a visit to Thailand On 11 February 1972. 

            Traveling to Northeast, we found Khao Phra Wihan (Sri-Saket), built according to architecture of the original hill sanctuary. Beginning from the slope at the foot of hill up to the most steepest part of cliff where appeared Prasat hin erected in 4 levels, with a gable formed the roof of building as called "Montien." At the end of  cliff found a projection of rock where the residences were built below which called "Pei-ta-dee", Replica of Prasat Hin Khao Phra Wihan was set up dominantly,illustrated its miraculous feature to the visitors on its construction efforts.Feeling tired of walking, we stopped over at the floating market.There were leisured places and shops selling foods located along the left bank of the river. Besides ancient places and items, there were many lovely deer jogging around to greet all visitors as being the guide of this place.

            Although the ancient city is only the replica of events, history or providing many leisured places for visitors, but in the next 30-40 years, this land will become aninvaluable heritage of country that rarely be seen. Everything will dependon cooperation of both government agencies and private sectors to maintain and conserve them for the next generations. According to objectives of the creators who wish to make known of Thai traditions and cultures to the world populations.Therefore, in order to give an honors to the creators of Ancient City who dedicated their strength, mind or even their money to maintain Thai heritage,we, thus, should perform ourselves appropriately as the good tourists in responding to their objectives. If all hands are lent together to make a perfect world as from today, the magnificence and gorgeousness of tomorrow world will be absolutely existed for us everlastingly.
